Kinley Hawkes

Mckinley Heimuli received her formative dance training at Hi-Light Dance Academy in Utah. She also studied the viola and the violin intensely, which contributes to her attention to detail and musicality in her movement. She has won numerous awards for her choreography both nationally and internationally. For five years, Mckinley was a member of the 26-time national champion and 2-time world champion BYU Cougarettes.

During Mckinley’s tenure with the BYU Cougarettes they won 7 national titles with her leading 5 of those as dance captain, as well as both world titles. She also choreographed many of the viral videos with Cosmo the Cougar and the Cougarettes. After Cougs, Mckinley began training around the world and most recently has trained with The Royal Family in Europe and this past year trained under Cameron Lee in Los Angeles. Mckinley is now continuing her career assisting Shandon Perez, and choreographing on her own. She is also on Innovate Dance Staff, a choreography agency

founded by Karl Mundt. You can check out her most recent choreo debut in the D1A hip hop division at UDA with Carolina Dance Team on Tik Tok and Instagram.
