Caroline Dorius

Caroline Tarbet Dorius is a passionate choreographer and dedicated dance professional. She began dancing at the age of five, training at Xcite Dance Studio and The Dance Project SLC, where she developed a deep appreciation for movement and artistry. Her love for choreography emerged early, and by 16, she was already creating routines that showcased her unique style and technical excellence.

During high school, Caroline was a key member of the Hillcrest Drill Team, serving as Dance Captain for three years. In 2016, she helped lead her team to a State Championship title and was crowned Miss Drill Team Utah with a self-choreographed solo. Following high school, she continued to refine her skills as a member of the BYU Cougarettes, where she danced and trained for five years. As a four-year Dance Captain, she played a pivotal role in leading her team to five National Titles, a Silver Medal at ICU Worlds, and two Gold Medals at ICU Worlds.

Throughout her career, Caroline has choreographed for numerous high school teams, studios, and collegiate programs across the country, helping dancers achieve top placements at competitions. Whether working with elite teams or young dancers, she strives to inspire confidence, passion, and precision in every performer.

Notable Accomplishments:

  • 2017-2022 – BYU Cougarettes – Choreographed timeouts, viral halftimes, concert pieces, China tour numbers, and assisted in Nationals and Worlds choreography

  • 2022 – Shelley High School – Military State Champions in Idaho

  • 2023 – University of New Hampshire – Jazz Finalists at UDA

  • 2024 – Shelley High School – 2nd Place Pom at State in Idaho

  • 2024 – Burncoat High School – 2nd Place Jazz at State in Massachusetts 

  • 2024 – Maple Mountain High School – Top 5 Show Routine at State in Utah

  • 2024 – Jonesboro High School – 3rd Place Hip Hop at State in Alabama

  • 2024-2025 – Williston High School – Back-to-Back Jazz State Champions in North Dakota

  • 2025 – Rock Springs High School – State Champions in Jazz in Wyoming
